| An estimated 45 people attended the Sept. 23 HIDDEN-TECH
meeting at Tortus Technologies, which was booked as a structured networking
session. Given the fact that 20 or more people lingered beyond the
7 p.m. closing time, it appeared that this session was extremely successful.
People were asked to
join one of six groups -- PR/Marketing/Newsletters; Content; E-commerce
services/Retailers; Hardware/Software Developers; Web Design/Hosting, and
Management Consulting/IT Training. They spent half an hour in one of those
groups, and then switched to a group of their choice. The Web,
PR/Marketing/Newsletters and Hardware/Software Developers were best
attended.
If there was any complaint, it was lack of time in each session. The HIDDEN-TECH
steering committee is exploring a program that would allow more
time for those who want to stay beyond and hour and a half to two
hours. People want to network and we want to make that happen!
