| Greenfield Community College and HIDDEN-TECH will
sponsor an event at:
GCC's Downtown Center on March
25 from 5 - 8pm.
Directions:
Amy Zuckerman and Duane Dale, well known area organizational
consultant, will facilitate the evening titled:
HIDDEN-TECH in the Pioneer Valley: Ways for Virtual Companies
to Manage Growth.
In a study sponsored by WMECO, Amy Zuckerman, founder and co-chair
of HIDDEN-TECH, identified the emerging workforce demographic of
'hidden tech entrepreneurs', many of whom have made the Pioneer
Valley their home. Amy is a hidden tech entrepreneur herself and
author of several books on technology, standards and global trends.
This information and networking evening will focus on the challenging task
of managing growth as a virtual company. Program facilitators and three
area companies will explore how to work remotely with subcontractors and
alliance partners as tools for handling business fluctuations.
Richard Roth of
On-the-Net,
Will Elwell of
Shooting Star Photography and
Jeff Potter of
Potter Publishing Studio
have agreed to share their
experiences with other hidden tech companies. These three small companies
serve local, national and even global clients.
HIDDEN-TECH is an Affinity Group of the Technology Enterprise Council, which
is a sponsored network of the Regional Technology Alliance.
