What could be better then jazz and networking in
the Berkshires at the height of leaf season?
Ed Bride, one of Hidden-Tech's super Berkshires
coordinators, has put together a fun afternoon
for those of you who enjoy Sunday music and a
chance to network with our Berkshire Hidden-Tech colleagues.
We'll take in the final concert of the Pittsfield
CityJazz Festival at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15 at
the newly restored Colonial Theater, 111 South
St. (the main street) which is as comfortable as
it is handsome. Featured is the U.S. Army Jazz
Ambassadors big band with guest soloist Phil
Woods, an alto saxophonist. One of the mainstays
of the bebop era, Woods has recently released two
big-band recordings, one of which was with the Jazz Ambassadors.
Anyone who wants to network afterwards will head
off to the Pittsfield Brew Works on West Street,
which is a short walk from the theater. Stay as
long as you want for some local brew and dinner.
Agenda:
1:30 p.m. – Meet in the lobby of the Colonial,
which is to the left of the main door (a former auto showroom)
2 p.m. – U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors
Post concert drinks/snacks at the Pittsfield Brew Works, West Street.
