Come out to celebrate Hidden-Tech's fourth year, make business contacts and
friends and learn more about plans for building the organization in the
years to come.
The steering committee is grappling with a change in the notion of
"membership" that will keep the network free and open to all, while
altering the idea of what it means to be a member. We will unveil a plan –
still to be voted by the board -- that offers you several options, ranging
from utilizing network services for free without involvement in the
organization to being a dues-paying members. "Dues" can be earned through
providing in-kind services.
There will also be presentations on plans for altering the Web site
platform to provide more interactivity. We will explore our fund-raising
efforts, to date, and discuss whether building a deeper alliance with the
Regional Technology Corporation would assist those of you who are techies.
As always, the steering committee wants to hear from all of you about ways
that Hidden-Tech is benefiting your business and what the organization and
network can do to improve.
To accomplish these goals, we need as many of you attending, as possible.
Everyone's voice will be heard (as much as feasible) and is welcome.
DIRECTIONS:
70 Boltwood Walk
If you are driving down the main drag heading towards the university, turn
right at the light at the Unitarian Church and then take your SECOND
driveway on your right. The Bangs Center will be just past a parking area
on your left.
OR, you can enter the Amherst downtown parking area via Main Street at the
end of Amherst Chinese (across from The Black Sheep) and just park
somewhere in that area. The Bangs Center is the brick building adjacent to
all the parking (next to Pinnochio's Restaurant).
