TIME: May 10th, 2004, 5 to 8 p.m.
COST: $5
Hidden-Tech will be two years old on May 7 and we're celebrating
with a
networking blast that will double as our annual meeting. This is
a chance
to meet the many, many newcomers to the organization, review our
progress,
learn about the steering committee's future goals and provide your
ideas
and input to growing Hidden-Tech.
Maybe you don't know that we're experimenting with Web-based forums
so you
can discuss at length about issues that matter to you?
Or did you realize that we now have participants on our email discussion
list from North Dakota? That's part of our ongoing effort to connect
you
to the national/global economy.
And you will have more opportunities to promote your businesses
this year
through the Web, and through programming. New Policy and Program
Guidelines are going to make it easier for you to participate.
You'll learn about all of these developments on May 10 without
boring
presentations or spread sheets. This is your night to participate.
Besides
updates from the co-chairs and our Web master, Rich Roth, Claudia
Gere is
preparing an interactive, information gathering session that will
get us
all mingling and sharing our thoughts and proposals. The night will
work
like this:
5 - 6 p.m.: Informal networking
6 - 6:30 p.m.: Welcome from Hidden-Tech co-chairs
and brief
overview of accomplishments/goals
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.: Interactive program
7:30 - 8 p.m.: Sharing findings
Hidden-Tech will provide some sandwiches, drinks and nibbles, but
we urge
you all to bring some favorite foods to share.
DIRECTIONS: Follow Rt. 9 through Northampton center.
Go past Smith College. At the High School take a sharp left onto
Elm Street. Parking is to the right of the building. Check to see
if the parking lot entrance to the cafeteria is open. Otherwise,
signs will be posted on the front of the building and inside.
